Ovenbird

Its name comes from its domed, leaf-covered ground nest, which resembles an old-fashioned outdoor oven.

Ovenbirds spend much of their time walking on the forest floor while searching leaf litter for insects and other invertebrates.

Their ringing song can be remarkably loud for such a small bird and typically grows stronger through each repetition.
