Warbler

Their lemon-yellow plumage gets brighter the further west you go. Pacific Coast populations sport vibrant orange-yellow foreheads and faces.

They are the only migrant warbler species that regularly spends the winter in tropical high plains, known as paramo.

Instead of only picking bugs off leaves, they constantly flutter and dart out into mid-air to catch flying insects just like a true flycatcher.
